Late last semester, while working for Ethicon Endo Surgery in Cincinnati, OH, I decided I would study abroad. Looking through the available options, I narrowed down my search to Lyon, France or Sydney, Australia. Since I'd already had the opportunity to visit and explore Europe during my stay in Leuven, Belgium, I chose to explore the brand new island on the border of oceans.

Fast forward to today, and here I am! Ready for whatever I might learn or experience abroad. I'm slotted to take a slew of mechanical engineering courses and a philosophy course, so I'm sure to be challenged at one of the best universities in Australia and in the world. Yet, as most university-dwellers might tell you, I do expect to be enriched more outside the classroom than in, particularly with the vast mélange of cultures that spread the UNSW campus.

And so we begin.
